PvP I like to break the PvP elements in Aion into pretty much 3 different categories.  First you have your rift PvP into enemy territory, then the fortress fights, and finally your small scale encounters that occur in the Abyss. 1) Rift PvP 2) Fortress Battles 3) Small Scale PvP
