Internet Explorer had memory issues (garbage collection) and I cursed its existence &#8211; it let me down!. Yet little did I know that it was actually my fault, as I wasn&#8217;t disposing of my variables after use and I&#8217;d cache way too many getElementById() results inside JavaScript.
