A proposed middleweight championship bout between titleholder Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort at UFC 108 on Jan. 2 in Las Vegas has yet to be cemented as Silva recovers from recent elbow surgery.

It looks like the Anderson Silva - Vitor Belfort title fight at UFC 108 is in jeopardy after doctors noticed more damage when he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his elbow on Monday.

Despite UFC president Dana White announcing last month that it was a done deal, Anderson Silva and manager Ed Soares say nothing is official regarding a title defence versus Vitor Belfort at UFC 108
