Two of the developments are interesting. One is the fact that the Florida Court issued an Order yesterday that if Clark does not want his confidential deposition released to the California DOJ, a Response needs to be filed to Howard K. Stern’s Motion pending before the court.

In Los Angeles, where I can not get documents from by the way, there is a hearing in Howard K. Stern vs Mark Speer. Speer was a body guard hired by Debra Opri for Larry Birkhead. Stern is accusing Speer of libeling him by statements that appeared in Rita Cosby’s book Blond Ambition. Stern is suing Cosby for the book as well. Attorneys for Stern filed the lawsuit against Speer and Jackie Hatten who was a friend of Anna Nicole Smith’s, the night before Speer was to give a deposition in  Stern vs Rita Cosby. Another defendant, Bonnie Stern the one who filed bankruptcy is not required to appear because of that filing but attorneys for Howard K. Stern and Harris are expected to be present.

Lots of new papers filed in Florida

What I find striking is the lack of Affidavits (only three filed), Admissions, Deposition transcripts, Interrogatories, Document productions, etc. to set out the “factual” bases for a Motion for Summary Judgment. What I have seen is many tabloid media filed to both support that O’Quinn did not defame Stern, just look at the “blog postings”, and then many tabloid media filed to say, “You can’t find that someone defamed another based on Tabloid Media”. A lot of go through and get up for you, but you can start downloading what we have now and expect an article of 3 or 4 up soon as I go through all of this.

In Orders and Motions to Reconsider it appears that Lin Wood by being a good guy is jeopardizing his client, Howard K. Stern’s chance of winning. It would appear that Wood is no match for the antics of the O’Quinn legal group and made a very costly mistake. Will John O’Quinn, Don Clark or Wilma Vicedomine sit for a deposition, my take is a blogger out smarted a top media big gun what is your thoughts? October 1, 2008 Court Order granting Stern more time to answer O'Quinn's expected Motion for Summary Judgment due by October 3. However, the Order also is denying any help from the court to make John O'Quinn, Don Clark, or Wilma Vicedomine to set for a deposition.
