By noreply@blogger.com (SallyP) Cool. Final Crisis: Escape #6. And so we come to the end. I liked this, even if I didn't understand half of it, although it does finally seem to make a certain amount of sense. I guess it's a good thing that Nemesis dumped poor Wonder Woman, considering the last page.

By noreply@blogger.com (Andrenn) Later in the Batmobile, Robin says that it’s going to be Robin and Batman from now on. Batman sarcastically mentions that should catch on as they find Le Bossu (that ugly mofo we all loved so much from Batman R.I.P.) as Batman mentions that this time it’s personal. Bossu mentions that Batman and R...

Dan DiDio Attempts To Explain FINAL CRISIS
Original at ComicList
• Tue, Feb 10
By ComicList Tonight at the New York Comic Con, VP Dan DiDio did his best to explain the FINAL CRISIS mini series, including how Batman RIP and FC flowed together, or didn't. DiDio addressed confusion behind how Final Crisis and Batman R.I.P., both written by Grant Morrison, flow. DiDio pointed to the projector, saying that story started with the first issues of "R.I.P.," going to Final Crisis #1, and then the last issue of "R.I.P.," Batman #681, then moving to Final Crisis #3. After that falls the "Last Rites" story (Batman #682-683), and then Final Crisis #6. The next part after that, somewhat logically, was Final Crisis #7. DiDio also asked about more FInal Crisis tie-ins: Resist, Submit and Rogue's Revenge. [read the full post]

By geoff.klock@gmail.com (Geoff Klock) This story was the high point in the run for me, a really nice tribute to Batman's history, and a brilliant idea about how Batman can make even his memories a weapon. The art was not great, but the end of this was really nice with the Lump and Alfred. I even liked how it was isolated from Final Crisi...

By noreply@blogger.com (SallyP) I have mentioned before, that I'm not a huge Batman fan. That said, I have been enjoying Grant Morrison's latest work with the whole Batman R.I.P. storyline, even though I only have bought the last few issues. By Travis Batman’s secret weapon to use against the Tangetn Superman is Supes’ ex-wife, Lola Dent. By Travis The ending is the worst of all. They smash up a helicopter, which is disgustingly-similar to the way that Hush met his (temporary) end over in Detective.
