By Chart Topper MMAjunkie.com has since confirmed with sources close to the Strikeforce organization that “King Mo” and Mike Whitehead (24-6) have agreed to meet on Dec. 19 at the “Strikeforce: Evolution” show in San Jose, Cali. Lawal will make his Strikeforce debut against Whitehead putting his 5-0 record on the line. His last win came in quick fashion as he defeated Mark Kerr in his first M-1 Global fight last August in Kansas City, Kan. Whitehead, who has fought in many different promotions from the IFL, Affliction, M-1, the WEC, and more, is on a two fight win streak. He’s won 15 of his past 16 matches.
