''Beyonce - Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'' (Video)Original at Urban Review
• Mon, Oct 13
By noreply@blogger.com (Pom) I listened to Single Ladies only a few days and liked it instantly. The good thing about Bey is she is quite versatile and can do songs such as ''Single Ladies'' which is very ''Get Me Bodied'' yet still do ''If I Were A Boy'' which I didn't really see coming.

By mark@urbanreview.co.uk (M@rk) After a little initial scepticism for the track, I take it all back, it's lyrically & vocal on-point, it is my favourite sort of Pop record, one that actually says something, ala what Mary J & Alicia Keys have been doing for years, but it's nice for Beyonce to catch up.

By mark@urbanreview.co.uk (M@rk) Hmmm, while I was ultimately impressed with If I Were A Boy, I am not going to be so complimentary of Single Ladies, it feels very much like a track from Beyonce's alst album rather than any sort of growth into a new sound. LISTEN - Beyonce Knowles - Single Ladies

By noreply@blogger.com (Pom) ESSENCE: Will history still remember you as having the soul of the artist? As opposed to just a girl who sold a lot of records. Also Bey said in response to her marriage to Jay Z... Personally i prefer this cover she did for Essence back in 2006. It's just prettier.

"Beyonce - Should Have (Now I Know)"

By www.urbanreview.co.uk That's Right, Here Is A Brand New Track Rumoured To Be From Beyonce's, As Yet Untitled, New Album. Should Have (Now I Know) - is production heavy with some killer vocals from Beyonce, from the presentation of the vocals, it doesn't sound like the fully mastered version, but it does sounds like a completed track. I am really liking this new 'World Music' sound from Beyonce, it feels deeper & more solid than the radio designed Pop songs of her last album. While I don't believe that Beautiful Nightmare (the last song to be leaked) was released by "Accident", it seems weird to me that the record company would put out an un-mastered song, I wonder if this one was a good old fashioned leak? By www.urbanreview.co.uk After The Huge Success Of Usher's Latest Track - Love In The Club, Here Is A New Song Dubbed - Part II. Beyonce & Lil Wayne have jumped on the track in a strange combination, I can see the King & Queen of R&B joining forces, but Weezy seems a little lost IMO. Still, the track feels more...
"Beyonce Knowles - Beautiful Nightmare"

By www.urbanreview.co.uk That's Right! Here Is A Brand New Track From Beyonce Knowles. Apparently taken from her up-coming third studio album, as yet untitled - Beautiful Nightmare is a big change in direction from the former Destiny's Child star. With a very Dance orientated sound, Knowles seems to be spreading her wings with this record. After confirmation that Timbaland would produce the majority of Beyonce's new record, you knew that this was going to be her best work ever & this record goes to prove it. While not the best track she has ever produced, it is exciting to see such a huge artist decide to make a move into a new genre of music. Miss Knowles has also enlisted the help of British producers - The Freemasons - who are responsible for the official remixes of D... [read the full post]
Beyonce & Tina Turner To Duet At The Grammys?
Original at Urban Review
• Wed, Jan 23
By www.urbanreview.co.uk If Rumors Are To Be Believed, The Current Queen Of R&B; Beyonce Knowles, Is To Duet With Living Legend; Tina Turner. The supposed duet is to take place at this years Grammy Awards, on Feb 10th. The ceremony was in jeopardy after the 'Writers Guild Strike' threatened to picket outside the famous awards, but this threat has now been withdrawn, leaving the A-listers free to attend. If this does go ahead it will definitely be a good look, most people seem to have forgotten what a talent Tina is, & the fact that she was the Beyonce of her time. [read the full post]
