Killers’ Brandon Flowers Discusses New Sound On Album

The Killers release their third studio album today (November 24th), titled Day And Age. The disc follows up the Las Vegas-based act’s 2006 sophomore set, Sam’s Town, which got some criticism for veering away from the dance-rock sounds of the group’s 2004 debut, Hot Fuss. The sound has changed again on the new record, but frontman Brandon Flowers told us that’s exactly what the Killers want to accomplish: “Hopefully, it’s evolving, would be the best way to describe it, because we want to be able to change. People that we like, like David Bowie and the Beatles, you know, they were able to change the way they looked and give you something fresh, and we really admire that.”
