And Smits is a great actor, so I should probably swallow my pedantic issues with Cane. But CBS has not only hired Smits to play the lead role, but also Puerto Rican actors Hector Elizondo, Eddie Matos, and Rita Moreno, as well as Miss Colombia 1991 Paola Turbay, to play other assorted Cubans.
