By vegasjs It looks like Lilly is hot, Z is getting set for another big september, Dempster has a strong arm due to his break during the season and Harden can always run off a set of wins. These guys have not given up and nor shall I. If the Cubs go 20-4 (not impossible) and Colorado plays .500 ball its a Cubs/Ro...

By Al Oh, the heck with it. There is no positive spin you can put on today's depressing 3-0 Cub shutout loss to the Astros, the first shutout loss since... the last time the Astros were in town a month ago, when they blanked the Cubs and Ryan Dempster on Tornado Siren Night, a game shortened to eight inni...

By noreply@blogger.com (Chaim Witz) The Cubs now move on to play the Rays. For those who claim managers aren't important in baseball, look no further than this team. Sweet Lou has them in the thick of it, without Mark Prior and Kerry Wood playing a significant role.

By David Hannes So that 3-game series at Chase a week from Monday may serve as a glimpse if the Brewers can win at Arizona and advance beyond the first round. I know, I know…it is waaaay too early for any meaningful guesses as to who will be the four NL teams to make the post-season, but that’s never stopped me. As...
