In 1975, Tony Perez hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning to break the game open in support of Don Gullett’s five-hit effort as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Boston Red Sox, 6-2, to take a 3-2 lead in the Fall Classic as the Series headed for Beantown.
