This is one of my favorite performances by Clay Aiken.
It happened during one of the times that he returned to American Idol as a guest performer. This song isn't on any of his albums, but I get a kick out of it because of the back story and because he sang the heck out of it with such joy.

When Clay Aiken was on his Jukebox Tour he had a segment called Stump the Band. The audience requested random songs. In Toronto one of the requests was for O Canada.
Clay sang it to the delight of his fans everywhere across the country.

Next week on April 8th there will be a 2 hour episode of America's Next Top Model with special guest Clay Aiken, who is a close friend of Tyra Banks. The preview is hilarious and I can hardly wait to see the show.

The guest judge was Diane Warren.
Clay sang "I Could Not Ask For More".
Randy said they are looking for the best in America and he said "Dude, you are one of the best in America.
Paula said for him to be truthful to who he is as an artist and he was a definite contender for the finale.
Diane said he did a great version and she loved his voice.
Simon said he didn't see Clay as a recording artist but he would make a fortune on Broadway.
As before - This is only Clay's performance.
Carmen Rasmusen was eliminated.
