Of course, the Cowboys assumed Terence Newman would play in the season opener, but you didn't see No. 41 on the field this afternoon. Several Cowboys expressed confidence in the rookie running backs, but the hope is that Barber will be behind Tony Romo in eight days.

Ol' Wade gave the ref a pretty good butt chewing after a holding call on Leonard Davis negated a big run by Felix Jones. The Cowboys have been penalized 10 times for 72 yards. If you're looking to nitpick after a convincing win, that's a pretty good place to start.

That's his first catch since his touchdown early in the second quarter. Winslow has five catches for 47 yards and a TD. Considering the Cowboys' troubles covering tight ends in recent seasons, they'll take that.

He's been taken to the locker room for further evaluation. It was announced that Barber's return is unknown, but it'd be stunning to see him back in the game with the Cowboys protecting a three-TD lead.

Did T.O. get a little push before catching the ball? Yes, but it came after CB Eric Wright made contact first. Let 'em play! That call could change the complexion of the game. Not only did it kill the Cowboys' drive, but it led to great field position for the Browns.

On Cleveland's second drive tight end Kellen Winslow was lined up outside or in the slot a lot. The Cowboys countered with different looks on Winslow, using Anthony Henry in press coverage, a combination of Greg Ellis and Roy Williams and cornerback Adam Jones.

Adam "Pacman" Jones was about six inches away from having his first highlight as a Cowboy. A bunch of folks wearing brown and orange breathed a big sigh of relief when he didn't pick off that third-down pass. He would have had an easy TD return.

Patrick Crayton was the Cowboys' punt returner. Perhaps Wade Phillips and Co. don't want to risk injury to Adam "Pacman" Jones while he's starting at left cornerback.

Felix Jones finally got his hands on the football in a real NFL game, returning the kickoff 20 yards. You'd think the Cowboys would find ways to get Jones 10-12 touches per game. That's tough to do when your offense only gets one possession per quarter.

Tony Romo can't hurt the Browns when he's wearing a baseball cap. Romo ripped the Browns for 66 yards on the Cowboys' first possession. He's been sitting on the bench ever since, while Cleveland chewed up the final 6:40 of the first quarter.

The secondary consists of three cornerbacks (Adam "Pacman" Jones, Anthony Henry and Orlando Scandrick) and FS Ken Hamlin. No Roy Williams. It's not like Kellen Winslow lit up the Cowboys on the Browns' first possession. He had one catch for six yards.

10 plays, 80 yards, no sweat on that TD drive, capped by Marion "The Barbarian" Barber going airborne into the end zone. Who needs depth at wide receiver when you have a TE like Jason Witten? He caught three balls for 49 yards on the drive. Tony Romo was 5-of-5 for 66 yards.

The Cowboys are going with eight offensive linemen with Pat McQuistan and Joe Berger as the backups. Wide receiver Mike Jefferson will make his NFL debut after getting the call up Saturday. We hope to have the Browns' inactives in a bit, but return specialist Josh Cribbs will not play. It look...
