There is renewed talk that the aging actress is slated to play Eva Longoria’s aunt in an upcoming episode. Longoria’s character will become involved with a new male character who is 20 years her senior this season, fueling speculation that the two scenarios might be connected. Raquel, now 67 , made a return to television on the short lived series Welcome To The Captain recently. She was cast as one of the eccentric residents of a Hollywood apartment building. Her character was a 52-year-old actress pretending to be ten years younger. The CBS sitcom debuted in February 2008 and lasted just five episodes before getting the boot.   [read the full post]
