Review: Desperate Housewives - Everybody Ought to Have a Maid
Original at TV Squad

By Isabelle Carreau Even if "Everybody Ought to Have a Maid" wasn't the best DH episode so far this season, I did enjoy the dialog between Bree and the maid concerning Bree's affair with Karl, as well as Julie's return home after two weeks in the hospital, especially since her return meant that she would run int...

By Amy Bartner 9:07: Aw, I was hoping for Lynette to stand up for herself when those two “old” 28-year-olds are rambling like Rachel McAdams in “Mean Girls” about how “old” women don’t stand a chance in the biz. Instead, all we got was a “call my kids if you hear a gunshot”? Come on Lynette, where you at???

By Dustin Gabby and Carlos, well mostly Gabby, continued to be at the mercy of Carlos’ blackmailing boss. He was using Gabby as play dates for his wife while he went out with his mistress. It was too much for Gabby, who eventually told the guy she was out. She said she wouldn’t cover for him any more. He told h...

By Meredith O'Brien(noreply@blogger.com) I'm already in Mad Men withdrawal and am trying to figure out how I'm going to fill the void left by the exquisite equivalent of the dark, independent film I've been watching each Sunday evening since July. But fear not. I've come up with an idea. While it's going to seem like forever until we get...

Overall I have to say, I think the jump forward could be a good thing for the show. With so many crazy things going on in their lives, the move ahead will hopefully refresh the series and make room for new story arcs and more crazy (and often dark) drama to play out in the little cul-de-sac.
