Torchwood Series Four in Preproduction
At last night’s press screening of ‘Day One,’ the first episode of Torchwood: Children of Earth, executive producer Russell T. Davies said a fourth series was already in preproduction. Whether it goes forward beyond that depends on how well received Children of Earth is when it airs next month.
Torchwood is making the jump from BBC2 to BBC1 for Children of Earth. The previous two series have been considered hits on BBC2 and BBC3. One assumes it will carry on the tradition.
No word on who will star in a potential fourth series. Eve myles is expecting a child later this year and Gareth Lloyd’s character, Ianto Jones, is rumored to die in Children of Earth.
