Rate Opinion: 'Dollhouse': Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku take us back kicking and screaming

By Eric Almendral The Dollhouse and its engagements seldom make sense. When Echo glitches and Dushku has to flit between personas, the performance is almost comedic. Twelve-year-old Adair Tishler did a better job of it as Iris in "Epitaph One." Epitaph One."

By Roco Q: How will “Epitaph One” change things within the series itself? Joss: We are going to see her as we know her, and then we are going to see something very different. That is pretty much all I can say. Joss: Not nearly as much as we would like, but we are going to make the most of her in those few episo...

By Cal Kemp In this set, we get 12 aired episodes, an original pilot and “Epitaph One”, the only-screened-at-Comic-Con season/series finaleish type deal. The regular episodes, admittedly, start kind of slow but do show off the charming camp element of the series’ basic setup. It’s not really until...

By TV Obsessed(noreply@blogger.com) I hope you understand what happened from my synopsis. Large doses of Felicia Day and Amy Acker made the episode really cool. Rate Season 2 Premiere um eine Woche nach hinten verschoben

Original at Dollhouse (The Paid Engagements, The Sex, The Crime) external link    Tue, Jul 7

By wiesengrund A source at the network confirms the one-week delay and explains that the push is meant to accommodate the already-tight "Dollhouse" shooting schedule. "Dollhouse" is going back into production in two weeks and FOX intends to air new episodes over consecutive weeks in the fall (as much as possible), so the new premiere date gives Joss Whedon and company a little additional breathing room. And in response to a frequently heard question, our FOX source says that as of now, FOX still hasn't licensed the unaired "Dollhouse" bonus episode "Epitaph One" (made for 20th Century Fox TV, but not for the network) and, thus, has no plans for the episode to air in primetime. Link Leider noch immer keine Aussichten auf "Epitaph One" @Fox. Aber mal sehen.   [read the full post]

By wiesengrund Gestern hätte ja eigentlich "Epitaph One"-Tag sein sollen. So what do Comic-Con attendees -- or DVD buyers -- have to look forward to? Well, "Epitaph One" did what the best episodes of "Dollhouse" do: It made me think, it had some great performances and it contained some "holy [expletive]" moments. To say more would invite a kneecapping from Fox, so I'll keep my yap shut when it comes to the "OMG" moments of "Epitaph One."   [read the full post]

Dafür gibt es nun aber Erwähnungen der Kommentare zu "Ghost" und "Man on the Street", und die klingen ja super: “Man on the Street” was the first episode to tackle these questions head on. Interstitial clips of a news feature on the “urban legend” of the Dollhouse tell us what the public thinks of the idea, and we see a schlubby Internet mogul (played beautifully by Patton Oswalt) with a very good reason to hire an...   [read the full post]
