Rate Opinion: Rape Is One Tick Short Of Armageddon, On Dollhouse

By Charlie Jane Anders Random thought: I am willing to bet this episode was written for season one and held over — because Paul Ballard wasn't in it, and I have a feeling writers Maurisa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon wrote it for a Ballard-less Dollhouse, then couldn't revise it to make Ballard fit in.

By Myles And with an episode like “Belonging,” which was definitely one of the best the series has done, you kind of want to be able to enter into a place of being unaffected by the scheduling drama that has all but signalled the end of the series sometime in early 2010. It’s not that we’re surprised at t...

Rate Dollhouse Season 1 Ep 1 - Ghost: Review, Tabz’ Reactions

Original at Joss'd external link    Tue, Mar 3

By Tabz As most of you know, I was a DVD convert to the Jossverse. So this is my first Joss Whedon TV premiere and I was very happy. I’m prepared to really really love Boyd Langton. He really stole the show. Also, Joss is right. Tahmoh should be shirtless more. Best scenes? Amy and Eliza together. “Does someone take care of you?” - Hauntingly tragic and amazing. I was prepared to hate this show, especially given the negative reviews it had garnered. I was prepared to give Joss a pass and chalk it up to studios messing with a master piece. I also was prepared  to remember that I didn’t fall in love with Buffy, Angel or Firefly on their pilot episodes (I actually thought all the pilot episodes were pretty dull).   [read the full post]
