Original at eve

By rocwieler It’s interesting in a way though, as this very topic is virtually all I’ve been able to think about during my flights to Iceland. But EVE Mobile? No. Never going to happen. Welcome to the twelfth installment of the EVE Blog Banter, the monthly EVE Online blogging extravaga
Opinion: Why your MMO is dying, and EVE is still growing
Original at syncaine (WordPress)

By syncaine EVE Online has a mile-long list of unique features that set it apart from all other MMOs, including being the only MMO with a constant and ever-increasing player base. WoW grew faster and bigger than any MMO before or after (in terms of profits anyway, other games hold the honored records fo...

By Wilhelm2451 I am surprised at how big RMT, TorilMUD, and SUWT appear in the tag cloud. Tabula Rasa is in there and that big? And I obviously need an EVE Online character named Reynaldo Fabulous to boost that tag. In EVE Online I made the big move from Caldari to Amarr space. I also began producing Badger tr...
Opinion: EVE Online: Apocrypha Lures New Players Into Harsh, Cruel Virtual Universe
Original at Wired News

By Nate Ralph There's a new massively multiplayer online RPG on store shelves this week: EVE Online Apocrypha. Well, it's not technically new. EVE Online has been running since 2003. But with the expansion pack, released Tuesday, the MMORPG will experience an inevitable...

By Wilhelm2451 In EVE Online, after spending millions of ISK, I managed my first Tech II Blueprint, then I couldn’t afford to build it. Ah, life in EVE. I also got my standing past 8.0 with the Caldari Navy and spent time hauling trash. EVE Online EverQuest II It has been hard not to play WoW over the last month.

In late March of last year I hit a speed bump in my professional career and found myself with a lot more time on my hands. Ever the optimistic, I leveraged this opportunity to turn this humble little EVE Online Blog and make it the best EVE blog on the Intertubes! The rest as they say, is history!

I was hoping to have some more EVE Online Blog Pack profiles to post, but that Crazy Kinux has been jet setting around with the “Who’s Who” of the EVE Online world. I hope we’ll get back to that this month. I was going on about MMOs on a single server again, focusing on EVE Online and why its unique...

I've been occasionally accused of loving EVE Online. This is probably because I frequently find myself pointing at the MMO of the month and it's various design flaws and saying "EVE fixed this." After several rounds of that, I eventually ended up ending every such phrase with "- but it's not...

By CrazyKinux 6) Now it's time to apply, go through the interview process and make your decision. Applying for a EVE corporation is a two-way street. I've played Eve on and off for a few months at a time, mostly as a carebear. It's worth spending a month or two in-game, but make sure to find a decent corp to hang with. After that, you'll probably be done with it, but i'll be an eye-opening experience nonetheless.
