Entourage: "Give a Little Bit" - Review
Original at Janaki's Musings

By janaki@symmetrypictures.com (Janaki Cedanna) The sixth season of Entourage has come and gone and what an epic season it was. Sure there were hits and misses along the way as the show struggled at times with direction but Drama and Turtle's "growth" were impressive, Ari and E's, not so much. Vince seemed to regress though . . .

Entourage - Season 6, Episode 12 Review (Season Finale)Original at geekytalk (WordPress)
• Mon, Oct 5
By Geeky Talk Firstly I have to mention Matt Damon’s brilliant performance, he nearly stole the entire show with him pestering Vince for money for his charity. Every scene he was in was hilarious and if you watched after the credits, there was an extra scene in which Damon tells Vince what he really thinks of him. Season six is done and while over exaggerated people might have said that this has been the worst season and they’ve got to the point that they will stop watching, I honestly say that I am not one of those people. Yes it isn’t the best season, it’s had good and bad episodes. Vince needed more focus but with that we got more focus on Eric and Turtle which was very welcome. As long as the show keeps me laughing then there is nothing wrong with it. Roll on nex... [read the full post]

By carterhawkins546 So if you watch the show, great – glad to know you weren’t part of that “three-year low” I mentioned. But if you used to watch Entourage, or never have, then this will be good for ya – the only six episodes you need to watch to know just what the heck is going on in the world of Vincent Chase.

Entourage - Season 6, Episode 10 Review

• Wed, Sep 23
By Geeky Talk Sorry for the late review, been extremely busy for the past couple of days. So season 6 of Entourage is very different to any season before. This is the season of relationships and the season in which focus has gone away from Vince and focused on the other three guys. Some might complain that this is a bad thing, some comments I have heard is that the show has now become a male version of Sex and the City because of E and Turtle’s relationships. Well all this is nonsense because this is life. The guys are growing up and with that comes serious relationships. The show cannot go on with all the guys banging as any girls as they can and never having relationships. [read the full post]

Entourage: Security Briefs - Review
Original at Janaki's Musings
• Tue, Sep 15
By janaki@symmetrypictures.com (Janaki Cedanna) Security Briefs" was one of those episodes that will either piss off the die hard fans or make them laugh hysterically over the antics of Johnny Drama. I'm somewhere in between. On one hand seeing Drama walk around in "out to make Drama's life a living hell courtesy of Dan Cokley" acid make up was extremely clever and down right funny the scenes with Ari and Lloyd were the polar opposite. It was pretty hard to watch, not to mention painfully unfunny and uncomfortable. Why is Ari Gold so angry? Vince is doing great, Andrew has righted himself by signing Aaron Sorkin and he just stole Zac Efron away from his nemesis Adam Davies. What gives? At best this is a throwaway episode that had some very funny moments but no real cohesion. [read the full post]

By Geeky Talk Poor slave, I mean Lloyd, he’s had enough and has left Ari. Ari stole Zac Efron away from Adam Davies so Adam decided to offer Lloyd a job as an agent. Lloyd had enough of Ari’s ways and has left. This should really provide some great entertainment, what will Ari do without Lloyd? Should be fun to see. Shouldn’t really be surprised Frank Darabont carries a gun around in his manbag.I bet being Zac Efron is a lot of fun. The cock.Ashley needs to be get rid of, she’s been in the show far too long now. I really enjoyed this episode a lot, mainly due to the Ari/Lloyd scenes and the seperation should be a fun storyline. Not sure exactly how many episodes are left in the season but I doubt it’s too many more. What I want now is Vince to get something to do, his projec... [read the full post]

By Geeky Talk So the main query from this episode is who broke into Vince’s house? Is it someone we’ve met before? Or is it just a crazy fan who likes to steal underwear? It’s about time Vince had his own stalker, all movie stars should have one. E started his new job and helped bring the lunatic Bob Saget to the Murray group. That Bob Saget scene was priceless, basically for him to sign up to the company, he wants to fuck his hot girlfriend in Murray’s office. With E and his new job, hopefully we’ll be seeing more celebs playing “themselves.” Quote of the episode: Bob Saget “That’s just great Scotty. That’s just what I want to be looking at when I’m sniffing a line of blow of her ass.” [read the full post]

Entourage: No More Drama - Review
Original at Janaki's Musings
• Mon, Aug 24
By janaki@symmetrypictures.com (Janaki Cedanna) Let me start out by saying that this episode of Entourage is the best one all season. It had it everything, funny scenes, great dialogue and above all good acting from everyone. Including Arnold the dog. I was worried that creator Doug Ellin would let me down by making the whole Drama apology painful but it was very well written and I laughed more times during this episode than I have all season. This episode called"No More Drama" featured some notable performances from a foul mouthed Bob Saget and a smarmy Scott Caan. From the opening scene the show hit the ground running and never let up once. There was a deaf Arnold, a Vince stalker, a tough Johnny Drama and E learning how to walk. [read the full post]

By Geeky Talk Alright, I think it’s time to start complaining about where this season is going. It’s getting far too serious for my liking, too involved in relationships that it’s starting to drag the show down. I don’t watch Entourage for the drama, I watch other shows for that. The show is about this group of friends and right now that group just isn’t there anymore. Geeky Thoughts:- I really hope that Drama’s boss doesn’t fuck Jamie Lynn. Will a Vincent Chase sex tape be leaked? The separation between the core characters just doesn’t feel right. It’s good to have a couple of episode heavily featuring one character but now Vince has been pushed to the side lines and all the rest are getting storyline that don’t connect with the other [read the full post]

Entourage: Murphy's Lie - Review
Original at Janaki's Musings
• Sun, Aug 16
By janaki@symmetrypictures.com (Janaki Cedanna) Now this is what I've been talking about. This episode should have been called "The Real Drama" as the REAL Johnny Drama finally showed up. Neurotic, insecure and susceptible to suggestion, Drama can still be a threatening psychopath when he wants to be. And that's just the way I like it. This episode called "Murphy's Lie" is the official mid-point this season and with only 6 episodes left it's about time Entourage gets rolling. The last two episodes lost track of what makes the show great. Friendship, and loyalty. Of course it never hurts when the guys are put into funny situations and they just react. That's the basis of great comedy. Janaki Cedanna Click Here for Full Review on TV Fodder - Entourage: Murphy's Lie - Review [read the full post]

Entourage: Fore! - Review
Original at Janaki's Musings
• Mon, Aug 10
By janaki@symmetrypictures.com (Janaki Cedanna) After a strong start to it's sixth season, Entourage has stumbled a bit nearing the midway point. Tonight's episode called Fore! left nearly all the character development it had earned in the dust. And what's with Johnny Drama? He's going south in a hurry. His insecurities were hilarious when he got zero respect and couldn't get a job but now he's just plain mean. Especially after last weeks fiasco when he had the nerve to ask Turtle to get Jamie-Lynn to agree to be his love interest on Five Towns. That was just plain wrong on so many levels and was completely out of character for such a loyalist like Drama. By Geeky Talk For me this was the best episode of the season so far. It really had everything you could want, basically all characters on form and the episode giving us many laughs. Drama with all the ladies was a great scene. Though it’s good to see him wanting his show to be successful and he’s right. Hiring a hot model ain’t going to do that. He wants to find a respectable actress and gets Turtle to ask Jamie Lynn to help. Even Drama is growing as a person, who’d have thought it? I have to talk about David Schwimmer, I’m a big fan of his so to see him turn up on Entourage was great. Seeing him say fuck was brilliant, his best line was “I couldn’t eat dessert knowing I wasn’t going to fuck that girl today.” As much as I loved that line, this one was better. [read the full post]

By Geeky Talk Andrew is using his new power and respect to bang a young colleague (the beautiful Autumn Reeser). Ari doesn’t like it one bit and it’s understandable, Ari has grown close to Andrew and doesn’t want to see him fuck everything up. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Autumn Reeser as she was amazing on The OC. This episode was a blast to watch because of mainly the comradery of the guys. This is what Entourage is best at, the guys have conversations that we guys have in real life. The Seth Rogen talk is something we’d chat about. Guy talk that has no significance whatsoever. The episode gave me plenty of laughs, mostly from Drama. [read the full post]

By Janaki Cedanna(janaki@symmetrypictures.com) The 9th episode this season of Entourage was split right down the middle into two distinct storylines. In one, we finally get to see Vince act again but this time we see him working his way up and the other shows Ari confronting his past. The constant of these two stories is that decisions made today will have a profound impact on the future, not just in the character development but in the direction of the show itself. Fans might not like this episode or dismiss it as filler because there isn't much humor and there were absolutely zero hot girls, but I think this may be the most pivotal episode all year . . .
