By mendie When I was reading my weekly issue of Soap Opera Digest I noticed that my favorite Daytime Soap is now at 1.8 million viewers.  Now I am sure that this number does not reflect the number of people watching the show on SoapNet or streaming it online, but the number is still alarmingly low.  Especially considering that General Hospital has often been considered to be the cream of the crop.  When other actors and actresses are asked which show they would love to be on the answer is overwhelmingly, General Hospital.  When awards are handed out General Hospital is often the favored winner.  It currently holds the record for most Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series, with 10 wins.
