By Erik Bartlett Once again, the Warriors aren’t even close to being able to contend for a title. With Chris Mullin gone and Robert Rowell being granted even more power to make terrible decisions, how shocked would you be to see Anthony Randolph traded at the deadline? I know I wouldn’t.

Tim Hardaway was both touched and thrilled by the sight of Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond at Miami's home opener Wednesday, the night Hardaway's No. 10 jersey was retired. "When I saw them come in, my night was complete," said Hardaway.

By Atma Brother ONE Does anybody want to play for the Warriors?- I think Tim is giving Chris Mullin way too much credit (see The Mullin Myths: Chris Mullin made the Warriors a franchise players wanted to join), but it's still an interesting read if anything else. Will Jrue Holiday work out for the Warriors? So...

By Adam Lauridsen The early days — One you weigh the massive contracts, two wasted draft picks (Diogu and POB), and relative silence from Mullin as to his vision for the team, it’s hard to categorize this period as anything other than a failure. Some of the Warriors’ current struggles can still be tied direc...

By Adam Lauridsen When the Warriors kicked off the 08-09 season, they were a team weighed down by seemingly endless questions: Who will play point guard? Is Chris Mullin still in charge? By Adam Lauridsen How much blame does Nelson deserve for Mullin’s treatment? Not much, but he’s certainly not making himself a martyr for the Chris Mullin cause. Nelson, rather than Mullin, got the extension to start the season because Nelson’s style of play continues to put bodies in the Arena’s seats. E...

Out of all this Chris Mullin has done a good job of not freaking out. He didn’t drop a pile of money into Jackson’s hands not did he throw cash at a mediocre free agent point guard. Criticize his signings all you want but he’s handled these last few weeks relatively well.

By noreply@blogger.com (FLCeltsFan) The Warriors got more bad news as they learned that their point guard Monta Ellis will be out at least 3 months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn deltoid ligament in his left ankle. Ellis injured his ankle last Thursday playing pick-up ball in his native Mississippi and had the surgery on Wednesday. The Warriors have had a rough start to the off season, losing Baron Davis to the Clippers and it appears that they are having an even rougher end to the offseason with the injury to Monta Ellis. The Warriors are very interested in former Clipper point guard Shaun Livingston with Chris Mullin scheduled to fly to Chicago on Thursday to watch Livingston in a private workout. They also signed former Celtic (albeit briefly) Luke Jackson, rookie c... [read the full post]

This ends one of the most exciting (though short) eras in Warrior’s basketball history, in essence ripping the heart out of a team that won 48 games last season. It seems that Baron was more affronted by Nellie’s treatment of him and the offers Mullin extended than most realized or perhaps w...

How he fits: The question with Lopez is, “How does Mullin want to build his second unit?” Last year Harrington gave Nelson a different look at center and that dynamic would be taken away with Lopez and Biedrins requiring 40+ minutes per game. His skills do however address some of the warrior...
