By Jimmy Herald.ie posted their review of Green Day's show in Dublin. Over the course of two and a half hours, the true star of the show was Billie Joe -- Green Day's very own peroxide-decorated Bono. He's small, he's funny looking, but he's also one cool son of a gun.

Following an entry with pieces from the new album, the concert managed to recover some classical themes, including songs such as Basket Case, She and King for a Day. The power of sound was driven by the voice of Billie Joe and a rhythm section that worked like a steamroller.

Last night Green Day played a show in Hartford, CT at the XL Center. Yet again another rocking show. In the past few shows Green Day has been throwing in some old songs into the set list. If you are an old time fan last nights set list will blow you away!

By ericgu There are Green Day touches all over the album. With the exception of a few overlaid synths, "Spike" is a fairly typical Green Day song. "Roshambo" is also a very typical Green Day arrangement, though the instruments are not. And songs like "Spastic Society" are much more in the Devo realm.
