The issue starts with Guy, Kyle, Kilowog and Salaak trying to figure out from the eyeballs left behind how the people were killed and who killed them. Captain America #34

Green Lantern #27

Project Super Powers #0

The Winner: Project Super Powers #0

There were plenty of excellent reads this week. This was a tough decision to make. Green Lantern #27 was a great read. I liked the new Alpha-Lanterns and am extremely excited about the direction of this title.

But, then I read Super Powers #0 and just like Eli Manning engineering a last second win in the Super Bowl, Ross and Krueger managed a last second win against Brubaker. I know that many people would select Captain America #34, but the fact is Project Super Powers #0 was simply the best issue that I read this week. Captain America may be one of the best titles, but for this one week, Captain America wasn’t the best read.
