July 1, 2008 A leaked online consumer response survey may have provided clues to which artists will be represented on Guitar Hero: World Tour, the next installment in the hugely successful video game series. According to Kotaku.com, the survey, generated by a market research firm, indicated that playable digital versions of Ozzy Osbourne, Smashing Pumpkins leader Billy Corgan, Paramore singer Hayley Williams, former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Jimi Hendrix, Sting and others could all possibly appear in the game. The survey says that the game will feature 85 songs, with Foo Fighters, Muse and the Doors also mentioned. The lineup of Guitar Hero: World Tour has yet to be confirmed.
