By John On a similar note is Halo 3: ODST. It built upon the story between the second and third games by introducing a kind of Metroid-like exploration aspect as well as a flashback-based story progression that really had me gripped from beginning to end. The game is thought of as being a bit easier...

By Patrick Nast Final Thoughts: ODST is a game that is worth playing for the rich art and new play mode, but because of the short campaign it is not worth shelling out 60 dollars for. By dogsounds So overall, campaign gameplay is a blast, and being honest, is pretty close to the rush of Halo: CE. Beats Halo 2 and 3 any day. As always, I’m not really going to cover multiplayer. As 99% of people playing ODST will already have Halo 3, I don’t really need to go there. It’s Halo 3’s full multiplaye...

Now any person that has played any of the Halo games before would know that Halo is not really about campaign mode but rather about the multiplayer experience. Halo 3 is no different. When completing the campaign mode, which you can play with up to four player in co-op mode – insane? I know! - you are going to play this game for at least another three years as the vast amount of options available to you for system-link and online matches is to die for! Multiplayer options galore Halo 3 is a fresh breath of air, even if it is from the same franchise that revolutionised the FPS genre on console several years ago. “Don’t fix what ain’t broke,” seems to be what Bungie worked with, good for them.
