Here are comments found around the Rockets' boards during their game with the Celtics. The Rockets had an incredible streak and are to be commended for it. There isn't an asterisk on this one either. Yes, the Rockets didn't have Yao but the Celtics didn't have Ray Allen, either. And 10 of those wins were without Yao so it isn't like he just went out. Like the Houston fans, though, I questioned Doc keeping KG on the floor with less than 2 minutes left in the game and up 20+ points. KG is too valuable to the Celtics to risk an injury in garbage time. If the Celtics are in the west I don't think the'd be in the top 5. The record doesn't mean much. Projected over an 82 game season, the Rockets would theoretically be 51.6-30.4 with McGrady and 18.2-63.8 without him. In plain English, with McGrady the Rockets are an elite team and without him they are one of the worst teams in the league.
