Here&#8217;s where the comic reaches. The ending is reliant on the belief that Wolverine really only wants the Hulk dead and not Bruce Banner. It&#8217;s a scenario that just doesn&#8217;t make a lot of sense. The two die no matter which one you kill so why would it make a difference if Wolverine kills the Hulk or Ba...

All four stories provided some entertainment. I found each of them to reuse elements that we&#8217;ve seen a number of times in previous Hulk stories, such as, the Hulk fighting for the greater good of men, Banner living with monks, etc. However, each of the stories provides some level of insight i...

The Fury interrogation is a little out of place only because if Fury felt Wolverine would continue to be involved with Hulk and She-Hulk you would think he would just let him go and track him. However, the line of questioning and the near torture sequence is pretty darn entertaining.

Here is a statement about Hulk #11, and about the Jeph Loeb&#8217;s Hulk series in general, that you won&#8217;t read on any other comic book review web site: I like it. Incredulous, you say? Well, here is an even more radical statement: Hulk is a good comic book.

The issue is a smash-fest. Hulk and Defenders battle red Hulk and his Offenders. The story and setup is a little absurd, but the issue does provide a good display of art and some good action scenes. It&#8217;s a fairly good issue but when you factor in the cover price of $4 and the limited story, this one...

<title>Hulk #10 REVIEW</title>

The premise, while not clear in its roots, is simple: Hulk picks a team. The Hulk is confronted by Grandmaster who explains that the Hulk can win back his lost love, Jarella, if he wins a battle. Hulk is then allowed to select his team. The Grandmaster helps him pluck his teammates out of various points in time. The idea being that the teammates are removed at a time when they lost the love&#8217;s of their lives and, therefore, is suffering from heartache. The heartache should help them rage through the contest towards victory.

The evaluation of this issue is to explain what it is not. It&#8217;s not Planet Hulk or World War Hulk. We won&#8217;t be getting answers about red Hulk or why Hulk is a moron again. The issue carries the extra dollar price tag because it&#8217;s a high sell...

The first story takes Green Hulk to new depths (or lows depending on your opinion) as he morphs into a Wendigo-Hulk. Apparently the Wendigo population is a knock off of zombies. They breed by biting people (or Hulks) and infecting them. Ms Marvel calls in some more help in pops the D-lister Bro...

Did Peter David try to get this published as a special because the regular She-Hulk title is being canceled? Maybe he had enough material done that he was able to persuade the Marvel powers-that-be to give him the green light to finish it. Whatever the case, it was an okay read.

Finally, Peter David with art by Gabriel Hardman gives a mostly narrative tale about the Hulk&#8217;s encounter with Dracula. This story is beautifully crafted. Hulk has to deal with angry villagers, Dracula and his bride over the ten page narration. The story has excellent interactions between both Hulk and Banner with Dracula. The story had some hilarious moments when Dracula would watch in awe of Hulk&#8217;s indifference to some of the old tricks he likes to play, like opening and closing doors without the use of his hands. Hulk seems to enjoy his visit with the vampires, which makes it all the more funny. This was a fun read that captures the characters perfectly. The artwork gives a very serious tone to it, which made me wish there were more illustratio...

<title>Essential Rampaging Hulk TP Vol 01 REVIEW</title>
<link>http://loyalminions.com/Hulk/opinion:essential-rampaging-hulk-tp-vol-01-review/</link>

Recently, while lucky enough to be enjoying Tulsa&#8217;s first DefCon comics convention in over a decade, I became luckier still. I stumbled upon Marvel&#8217;s Essential Rampaging Hulk Vol. 1.

The Rampaging stories feed an ongoing feature in which the Hulk, his &#8220;sidekick&#8221;, Rick Jones and an alien woman named Bereet contend with extraterrestrials intent on subjugating Earth. While there&#8217;s not much deep character development, writer Doug Moench keeps the action and intrigue snappy and satisfying. His stories from The Hulk are a bit different, but interesting as they have the &#8220;feel&#8221; of the Hulk t.v. show of the same era, which was intentional on Marvel&#8217;s part.

Essential Rampaging Hulk TPB Vol. 1

We cut to Toby coming home and going straight to his bedroom to read his comic books. Toby thinks how his mother always told him that comic books would rot his brain. That two years ago his mother ripped up every comic book he had. (I had something similar to that happen to me when I was a kid. Parents just don&#8217;t understand.) Toby thinks how maybe comics are rotting his brain and that his mother had his best interests in mind.

I dig that Millar visits the age old debate about if comic books rot your brain or not. I chuckled as Toby begins to wonder if his mother was actually right that comic books were bad for him. I am sure that many comic book readers probably have a story about when their parents tore up their comics or simply preached how comics were bad for the...

Ross says that Banner needs to help them answer why this new Hulk would kill Abomination, what is with the radiation emitted by the second Hulk and why does he use a gun.

I have to admit that I am digging both the red Hulk and the new Abomination. Loeb teases the reader with some interesting tidbits about the red Hulk. We learn from Banner that the red Hulk is emanating radiation because he has been exposed to gamma radiation before. Also we learn that whoever is the red Hulk also has security clearance at the Gamma base. This immediately makes Doc Samson the number one suspect as the new red Hulk. That also goes along with...

Marvel unveiled another Hulk comic book with the debut of Hulk #1. The little twist about this title is that it deals with an all new red Hulk. The creative team consists of Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness. Now, I&#8217;m not a big Hulk fan. I haven&#8217;t really read the Incredible Hulk since I was probably about 11 or 12. And I was totally unimpressed with World War Hulk. So, the question is why in the world would I give this new Hulk a try? Well, the main reason is because I love Ed McGuinness&#8217; artwork. And I think he is perfectly suited to draw a character like the Hulk. And a minor reason is that I&#8217;m just a bit curious to learn more about this red Hulk.

Dugan says that it wasn&#8217;t Fury who tricked the Hulk. That it was a Life Model Decoy. Hulk says he is going to go ask Tony Stark if that is true. Hulk says if it is a lie then he will come back and destroy the Helicarrier.

We cut to Dugan meeting with Lindsay and Clay Quartermain. Both men had served with Ross&#8217; Hulkbusters. Lindsay counsels conceding Manhattan to the Hulk and letting him get his revenge on the few people he wants to and then maybe the Hulk will leave.

Quartermain argues that they shouldn&#8217;t sacrifice Manhattan and that the Hulk won&#8217;t leave after he gets his revenge. Quartermain says that they need to attack the Hulk now. Dugan agrees with Quartermain and tells him to get an inventory of all the weapons they have that could cause damage to the Hul...

As far as Hulk goes, Penn went into a lot of detail regarding his vision, and the way he approached the script. He squashed those gray Hulk rumors, saying Avi Arad &quot;must have been mis-quoted,&quot; and there will not be a gray Hulk. And when I brought up further casting announcements, Penn said that...
