By Kevin(legacysword@gmail.com) We cut back to Dmitri in his office pouring himself a drink and wishing Tony luck. We cut to Tony flying towards Stark Lab. As Tony is flying, he is shot down by a couple of men who noticed something flying in the air. Tony is lands on the ground below with the armor damaged by the fall. Tony takes of the armor and sits in front of it trying to recover. In the Helicarrier armory some HAMMER agents store Pepper's armor in the same location as the rest of the Iron Man armor. End of issue. And while I like having Bucky appearing as Captain America in other Marvel titles, his appearance in this story actually hurts the story that Fraction has been building. Because, instead of allowing Tony to be the hero his own story, it seems that it will actually be Bucky. [read the full post]

Opinion: Comics Legend Bob Layton SUSPENDED ANIMATION SPOTLIGHT
Original at ComicList
• Sat, Mar 14
By ComicList Comics Legend Bob Layton Comics Legend Bob Layton Layton worked on two different runs of the original Iron Man series, co-plotting with writer David Michelinie on both. He inked the pencils of John Romita, Jr. on issues 116 through 154, and finished the art of (primarily) Mark D. Bright and Jackson “Butch” Guice between issues 215 and 250, acting as primary penciler on several of the last ten issues. Layton helped give a more technological look to Iron Man, and aided Michelinie in developing a deeper and more emotionally vulnerable man inside the armor, Tony Stark. Their “Demon in a Bottle” storyline is considered legendary in the comics industry. Iron Man: The End Iron Man HC - Doomquest Original post blogged on ComicList. [read the full post]

By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) Marvel continues to flood the market with Iron Man as we get yet another Iron Man mini-series with Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas. Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man, is handling the writing duties on this title as Adi Granov handles the art chores. I am looking forward to Favreau’s story. Favreau gave us a fantastic version of Tony Stark and clearly gets Tony’s character. I’m confident that we will get a good read with Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas #1. Let’s go ahead and hit this review. I love Favreau’s handling of Tony’s character. Marvel should replace Fraction with Favreau over on Invincible Iron Man. Because as it stands, there are two armors: Tony’s hi-tech Extremis armor and Rhodey’s War Machine armor which isn’t as good as Tony’s armor. Tony then goes to his lab. Tony says that his third nightmare spins out from his second nightmare. That someone other than Tony or Rhodey will pilot the Iron Man armor. Tony says that he is not thrilled with people with suits of armor that are similar to the Iron Man armor. That during the Armor Wars, Tony’s tech was sold to the underworld and being used to kill people. [read the full post]
