15 year old Island Def Jam artist, Jessica Jarrell (@ilyJJ), has been making a lot of noise lately in the R&B scene when she teamed up with Brian Kennedy, and Toby Gad in the studio. On top of that, Jessica Jarrell has released numerous club remixs to her first single “Armageddon”, which has been taking over the club/dance scene. Joe Bermudez Club Mix, Stonebridge Club Mix, and the Jake’s Stonebridge Vocal Mix are just some of the remixs available out there right now. Jessica Jarrell (aka - “JJ”), who Toby Gab describes as a young “Beyonce“, recently just signed to Toby’s and DAS’s new record label Kite Records and Island Def Jam Records through LA Reid and David Massey. Toby Gad is responsible for some of todays most played radio songs. He has worked with Beyonce, Fergie, Brandy, Shakira, Hannah Montana, Natasha Bedingfield, Esmee Denters, The Veronicas, Ricky Martin, Nick Carter, & Keke Palmer … just to name a few.
Her album is expected to be done by Fall of 2009. “Armageddon” will be her first single to come off the untitled album. It’s safe to assume that Jessica Jarrell will be something to look out for. For this reason, we proclaim her TheNext2Shine! In Jessica’s own words “I love to sing – It’s my thing”
