LET'S GO BLOG WILD: I came along just in time to witness the death of The Western in the '70s. John Wayne died after making "The Shootist" and, when I was a kid, it was hard to know who to cheer for in morally murky oaters such "High Plains Drifter" and "McCabe and Mrs. Miller."
