By Wendy I feel the same about the pilot show of K-Ville that I have of other shows I love; I hope it gets better and the stories more developed. It is hard to get too comfortable when you don't know the characters, yet. Most shows don't get better until after the first season. We need time to start to ca...

By screenwriterguy Best aspect: Anthony Anderson. Loved him on The Shield. He looks like he’ll be equally compelling as a good guy. Worst aspect: The New Orleans-ness feels forced. “I need some gumbo. It’s what I do when I need to think!” ...

By Tony Figueroa My first response to K-Ville, a cop show set in New Orleans two years after Hurricane Katrina, is that I applaud the effort. I had very high expectations for the show. I didn’t want to see just another crime drama. I was expecting to see something new and different. The creators of the show have an...

One person made a post to the article which actually made my day. He or she said that the show was not meant to be a documentary. This is a TV cop show set in New Orleans, post-Katrina – not some docu-drama of what life is like in New Orleans today.

Review: K-VILLE - SEASON ONE - 'Pilot' - Sep 18, 2007 The series begins with what may or may not be a flashback to Trevor Cobb’s (Cole Hauser) past and Marlin Boulet’s (Anthony Anderson) terrible experience ...

By Jason the TVaholic Review: K-Ville is a buddy cop drama, with the occasional attempt at humor to break the tension. Set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, it looks like it wants to delve into some serious topics, but this first episode comes off as your average by the book cop show. Which is funny, since Anth...

By Diane Kristine Apparently, no one calls New Orleans "K-Ville." Creator Jonathan Lisco says the title of FOX's upcoming series (shown by the newly launched E! in Canada) was inspired by some graffiti scribbled post-hurricane, graffiti that appears in ...
