Rate I Saw My Hero Lance Armstrong At The AMGEN Tour Of California

Original at LIVING STRONG AND HEALTHY BLOGGER external link    Tue, Feb 24

By Livingstrong(dramarthacastro@yahoo.com) Lance Armstrong is more than a hero to me. He is so real and so perfect. He is my daily inspiration and nobody can destroy the love and admiration that I have for him. Seeing Lance Armstrong in person yesterday pedaling his bike and about a meter away from me was one of the most amazing experiences I have had in my life. Lance didn't go to this tour to win. He went to help Levi to get his 3rd win at the tour and to act as a great domestique. And Lance did. Lance accomplished his goal and showed us that he is good at everything he does. Lance Armstrong is just...good, excelent, amazing at everything he does. He was a down to earth cycling teammate and performed very very well. Come on, Lance finished in 7th place overall in the general classification after 3 and a half yea...   [read the full post]

Rate Lance Armstrong Survives Cycling Accident

Original at LIVING STRONG AND HEALTHY BLOGGER external link    Sun, Feb 8

By Livingstrong(dramarthacastro@yahoo.com) Tour Down Under Stage 3 was 'D' stage of hell. It was a carnage, with crashes, heat, winds that reached gusts of 85 km/h and nine riders were forced out of the race with injuries after the crash. The cycling crash occurred very early in the stage at the 12 km right before the breakaway of a group of 16 riders where Lance Armstrong, O'Grady and Michael Rogers were. Fortunately, Lance Armstrong avoided the crash and finished in 39th in the general classification with only + 0:29 seconds, which it's great. He was in 68 place after stage 2. Another cyclist that I adore (not as much as I adore Lance, of course), George Hincapie, is in 12 place in the Overall Classification. I would love to see Georgie in the podium. He is a great cyclist and deserves a good win.   [read the full post]

Rate Opening Criterium Tour Down Under

Original at LIVING STRONG AND HEALTHY BLOGGER external link    Sun, Feb 8

By Livingstrong(dramarthacastro@yahoo.com) The Tour Down Under has started with the Opening Criterium, which is sort of like a prologue to the Tour Down Under but the times won't count towards the General Classification. And it's a good thing because Lance Armstrong came in a very honorable 64th place. This opening race is not a difficult one and it was not one for Lance Armstrong to win since it's a hectic one and more suited for sprinters, and Lance Armstrong is a stage racing cycling bull. I personally think that it was a great come back for Lance because he had the chance to get back in the excitement of competing without the pressure of winning. I am so excited about Lance Armstrong's comeback that I can hardly sleep. This years folks, it's going to be one of my best years in my life!   [read the full post]

Rate Kill The Coward Within

Original at LIVING STRONG AND HEALTHY BLOGGER external link    Fri, Jul 4

By Livingstrong Saturday, June 28, 2008 Kill The Coward Within This is my comment on the video: "Lance Armstrong IS the greatest athlete, and some people who are probably very weak and mentally challenged, can't see how great he is, so they get jealous and try to insult Lance with doping allegations. To those pathetic people who don't like Lance Armstrong, I have a message: Stop eating hamburgers and drinking beer, GET A BICYCLE and get fit! Lazy butts!" This is yet another awesome Lance Armstrong's video. He is just amazing, powerful, energetic, positive, what can I say? He's my hero and I love him and admire so very much, with all my heart and my brain. I consider myself tremendously lucky that I got to live in the same time frame he's living too in this earth.
