Lauren Conrad is done with reality television...for now, at least.
Reality?TV, as in a show like The Hills? I don't think I could do it," Lauren confessed at Barbie's 50th birthday bash in Malibu. "Never say never, but at this point I think I'm ready to step away and do my own thing."
So what will she miss least about doing the hit MTV show...and will her roomie Lo Bosworth be leaving the show, too?
While L.C. says she'll miss the crew she worked with, she won't miss the constant camera presence.
Lo said she'll?still be a part of The Hills, but?they won't?be filming in the new Westwood apartment they just moved to.
And, at least for last night, L.C. and Lo seemed to enjoy not having cameras on them as they took shots and sipped white wine at the party.

Even Lauren Conrad was concerned when ex-BFF Heidi Montag eloped with Spencer Pratt in Mexico last month.
Holly said she doesn't know what Conrad thought of the surprise nuptials.
She has not said anything to me about it," Holly said. "She just wants to make sure Heidi is OK."
Holly, who spent the past weekend with Heidi and their mom, Darlene Egelhoff, also told Us that Heidi apologized for waiting so long to tell them she got married.
Holly added that her mom and Spencer have been communicating.
She said Heidi and Spencer have been talking about having a big wedding ceremony soon.
Holly said she would "absolutely" help her plan it.

It seemed like Audrina Patridge was just patching things up with her roomies, and now she’s moving out. Last week Patridge finally said goodbye to living with her Hills roommates, Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth.
As for LC and her other former roommate/BFF Heidi Montag, Patridge says the hatred between the two is the real deal. “They really don’t like each other, but I’m friends with both of them,” she said. “When we hang out, I don’t talk about the other. I’m like Switzerland.”
And if Patridge ever needs advice on how to cope post-Conrad, she can always call Montag. “I love Audrina,” Montag said. “We were friends before her and Lauren were friends. We still talk.”Source: people.com

The fourth season of The Hills kicked off to--what else? A great heap of drama!
Barely minutes into the season premiere, housemates Lauren Conrad, Lo Bosworth and Audrina Patridge fell into a heated catfight during a birthday party that L.C. and Lo "lovingly" threw for their dark-haired roomie.
Lo and LC have grown up together," a source close to the girls says. "They have a history Audrina will never have."
As a result, Audrina, 23, has been chilly towards Lo, 21, and growing distant with Lauren, 22. "Audrina got jealous and felt herself being pushed out," an LC insider says. "She just gave up on the friendship."

Depending on whom you ask, Heidi Montag is the villainess on the hit MTV reality show "The Hills." But ask Montag, and she'll sing a different tune: She's merely the outcast friend who is portrayed as the troublemaker by star Lauren Conrad.
Even though "The Hills" chronicles Conrad's life (it's the most watched TV show among women 18-24), it's her feud with Montag that's grabbing most of the attention. The falling-out began when Conrad expressed her dislike for Pratt. Montag blames Conrad for telling co-star Audrina Patridge to drop her as a friend, even though Montag introduced them. All hell broke loose when Pratt and Montag claimed Conrad had shot a sex tape with ex-beau Jason Wahler.

Season 3 of " The Hills" is out on DVD this week, and in honor of the occasion, we snagged some quality time with Audrina Patridge while she was en route to get her hair done in Beverly Hills. Patridge spilled on the real deal between her and Lauren Conrad, her first big movie role and the best part about being famous.
Is Lauren your friend?
We don't have a lot of the same friends, but we try to reserve one night a week to hang out. In the fourth season, you'll see our fight gets cleared up. Basically, I just start doing my own thing separately from her and Lo [Lauren Bosworth], and I get busy. But you know, things change and friendships do drift apart sometimes. Lauren and I aren't not friends, we're just not as close as we used to be.

Lauren Conrad’s clothing line has reportedly been dropped by Los Angeles boutique Kitson, but her “Hills” co-stars are sending her good thoughts.
“We pray for her,” Spencer Pratt told “Access Hollywood’s” Dish of Salt, Laura Saltman, at the E3 Media & Business Summit in L.A. on Wednesday.
As for Spencer’s fiancée, Heidi Montag, she said her own line is still going strong in stores.
Pratt and Montag turned up at E3 to promote Ubisoft, where they played Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.
The couple who are used to having a gaggle of paparazzi in tow, turned up without the entourage, who they admitted to missing.
“They weren’t allowed in,” Pratt said. “We wanted to get ’em in, but I guess you need exclusive E3 badges.”

There is a different side to Heidi Montag that you don't see on MTV's The Hills, the 21-year-old budding singer tells USA Today.
She and beau Spencer Pratt — who just attacked Mary-Kate Olsen after she said he had a bad temper in high school — will head to the country in August to "feed children and help build things."
As for the new season of The Hills (the first of 19 episodes debut August 18), Montag says viewers will get to meet her old sister Holly, an aspiring filmmaker who once lived with her and Conrad.
Holly and Lauren were inseparable for a while," Montag says. "But they stopped being friends when Lauren and I stopped being friends."

Lauren Conrad has no doubt Whitney Port can carry her own reality show.
As Us Weekly reports in its new issue, MTV is prepping a Hills spin-off in which Port becomes bicoastal while working for fashion PR firm People’s Revolution — and befriends a group of NYC gals (including socialite Olivia Palermo).
I think that Whitney will do really well with it," Conrad told Usmagazine.com at the Grand Opening Gala of Bowlmor Lanes West Coast Outpost in Tustin, Calif., on Thursday. "She is a very likable person."

Bowling managed to bring Hills costars Audrina Patridge, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, together Thursday night—or at least under one roof for the grand opening of Strike Orange County in Tustin, Calif.
Adding to the drama of the evening, Audrina claimed to not know that L.C., Lo and Whitney were there—and kept her distance even after finding out.
How exciting.
All of which raises the questions: Is Audrina actually fighting with the other Hills girls? Is she really that much of a diva? Or is she simply being set up as the next "villain" as part of a carefully orchestrated plan on MTV's part to get people to tune in to the next season beginning in August?
