Michael Hurst to Direct more Legend of the Seeker & Spartacus Sam Raimi and Rob Tappert are keeping their good friend Michael Hurst busy. Last season the Actor/Director appeared in Legend of the Seeker ep 13 REVENANT as Amfortas and also directed DENNA, SACRIFICE, and RECKONING. It was posted today on Michael’s website that he has been signed up to direct several episodes this season for Legend starting with the so far unnamed episode 2×02. Michael will also be directing episode 1×05 of SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND along with more episodes to come. Legend of the Seeker Season 2 Premiere Episode Spoilers Our friends over at Spoiler TV have gotten their hands on some casting slides for the premiere episode for season 2 of LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. The slides are calling the episode “MARKED.” It looks like that perhaps the line that Darken Rahl was feeding Jennsen in FEVER about their familiar connection might be true after all. New Zealand actor Jay Laga’aia is talking to George Lucas about a role in a live-action Star Wars television series next year, the New Zealand-based newspaper The Dominion Post reported. Lucas had previously cast Laga’aia as Captain Gregar Typho, Amidala’s head of sercurity, in Star Wars: Episode II—Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith. It’s unclear if he’s in talks to reprise the role or to play a different one. The series will reportedly follow the Rebel Alliance as it slowly gains strength against the the evil Empire. The only thing that happened in MIRROR to move the story along was that it reunited Richard and Kahlan with Zedd. Beyond that the episode didn’t deal w/ our heroes quest to figure out how to take out Darken Rahl, in fact we rarely saw them in the episode at all, even though we did get to see plenty of Craig and Bridget. By Michal This week on Michal’s DVR… By Michal Legend of the Seeker – “Mirror” This was just a fun - albeit filler - episode and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Erika wrote up a great review earlier in the week, but I just had to add how much I loved the final scene.  Bruce Spence (Zed) played it wonderfully.  Sure it was over-the-top, but I needed the laughs! The dark episode begins on a light note, Richard and Kahlan are screaming and running through the woods and landing right in their campsite. Were they being chased by D’Haran soldiers? No, they were pursued by an angry swarm of bees seeking justice on Richard who dared to steal their honey.
