By www.urbanreview.co.uk Leona Lewis Continues Her World Domination Of The Pop Market With Her 'Shakey' Début Album - Spirit. Here is a new track that has been added to the US version of the record, which is slated for release on April 8th. Misses Glass in a solid, high tempo addition to an album laden with middle of the road ballads. With some excellent production, courtesy of Mad Scientist, & some strong, catchy lyrics, this is the sort of track that Leona should be making to get her a much wider fan base. I'm sure this would have appealed to the UK as much as the US, so it is a shame it was dropped from the original album. [read the full post]
"Leona Lewis - Footprints In The Sand" (Video)

By www.urbanreview.co.uk Here Is the Latest Video From The UK's Very Own 'Mini Whitney' - Leona Lewis. Footprints In The Sand is part of a double A-Side release, with Better In Time. It also serves as this years Sport Relief single, a BBC aided fund-raiser that helps out various charities around the world. The song itself is another 90's style pop ballad, showing off Leona's vocal ability, while remaining pretty lame on the lyrical & musical levels. Leona will be a superstar, but I wish it was for some real soulful material, rather than some mediocre, pre-written pop. In saying that, I have a soft spot for some 'lovey lovey' songs & I do like this one. [read the full post]
"Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love" (US Version) (Video)

By www.urbanreview.co.uk Here Is The Brand New Video For The US Release Of Leona Lewis' Smash Hit Bleeding Love. It's not a surprise that Leona's people have chosen to lead the US campaign with this single choice, however I am a little surprised that they felt the need to shoot a new video. Still the video itself is pretty good, a little over dramatised, but cool all the same. I'm still not convinced by Leona's efforts so far, I do not blame her because she is a fledgling artist, but her team need to realise that for long-term success you need critical acclaim. One single, no matter how successful, does not build a music career, or a great artist. I was sorely let down by Leona's album & I hope she grabs the creative reigns for her next effort! "Leona Lewis - Run" (Radio 1's Live Lounge)

By Mark Rising Superstar "Leona Lewis" Dropped By "Radio 1's" Live Lounge Last Week, She Performed Her Recent Number #1, As Well As This Cover Of "Snow Patrol's" "Run". Although her debut album is not everything it could or should have been, I still have massive support for Leona, she has the best voice I have heard in such a long time & I believe she has the potential to one day match "Mariah" or even "Whitney". This track is amazingly performed, she makes it seem effortless, her pitch & tone are perfection & the emotion put into a track that was not even wrote by or for her is great. She really makes it her own, I still can't believe that people could hate on someone so talented. LISTEN: "Leona Lewis - Run" (Radio 1's Live Lounge) [read the full post]

By Mark Just Short Of It's November 12th Release Date, "Leona Lewis'" Debut Album Has Leaked. Spirit" has so far received a poor reception from critics & music reviewers, but so far I have been quite impressed, so I think it may be people hating on the whole "X-Factor" thing. Still I will give it a listen & give my opinion in a review. For now, check out Leona's Spirit below & let me know your thoughts. As always, grab a retail copy of the album if you like it! By Mark I'm not quite sure what I was expecting for this video, but it wasn't this, with throwbacks to "Mariah Carey's" "We Belong Together" video (IMO), Leona is looking like a superstar, gone are the "X-Factor" days of being shy & sheepish. She is looking on-point, sexy while still remaining very humble. It is very exciting to finally see a female from the UK who can honestly be a global superstar, I only hope that her album will contain more R&B rather than more pop tracks. This girl needs to take charge & Represent for the UK scene, which is almost non-existent at the moment.
