Earlier this week, TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has written that The CW's has already informed the cast and crew of its low-rated Sunday night drama "Life is Wild" that the show is basically over, but they continue to decline any official comments about the show's future.

But Life Is Wild, it’s just too American-Drama - it’s like Desperate Housewives meets the Lion King. The plot is barely even distinguishable from any regular soap opera - or crappy high school drama - except for the giveaway of a few extra attacks from wild animals.
