Lil Wayne Before I go any further, this needs to be known — I am a proud Lil Wayne fan. He ranks inside my top 3 favorite hip-hop artists, alongside Kanye West and Kid Cudi. This dude’s flow is ridiculous, I’ve enjoyed nearly every song he’s put out since Go DJ, and Tha Carter II is one of the best hip-hop albums I’ve ever heard. Not to mention his huge role in the rebuilding of New Orleans after the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina — he’s clearly got it in him to be a good person. Now, let me also say this — this man is trippin. For all who don’t know, Lil Wayne was sentenced to at least 1 year in jail last week, for a gun possession incident that happened back in 2007 — he had a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun on his tour bus … okay.
