By Rashell(noreply@blogger.com) POSTED ASH_QWERTY, HOW TO: ARTIST ROYALTIES, INDIE V. MAJOR We can hardly judge Warner for what they're doing though can we? I mean, we've all downloaded some LP music off random sites without paying haven't we (sorry Mike)? Although i know download all my non-cd tracks off 7digital.com- honest :-). But Mike & LP even support this- they're that kind of band. Still, screw Warner :-). Everyone on the LPU Forums hates them anyway! M: No, the leftover live songs won't be the new LPU CD. We heard your comments about the last LPU CD needing to have more unique material, so we're trying to do that. I think this year's LPU CD will be one of the best ever. At the very least, it'll be the most unique. Here's what it won't be: live tracks, new unreleased Linkin Par... [read the full post]

Opinion: Is heavy metal back with new Metallica album and great Linkin Park tours?Original at HeavyMetalMusic.biz

By caustic So the new Metallica single came out like today or something, the rating on iTunes is only 3.5, so far apparently people don’t really like it, oh well sucks for Metallica, I haven’t heard it so someone should comment and tell me if it is any good, i’m to busy listening to Linkin Park to care any...
Review: Linkin Park brings a less diverse yet still rocking Projekt Revolution

By caustic As usual, Linkin Park even managed to work a few hip-hop elements into a hard-rocking sound all its own. “Bleed It Out,” “In the End,” “Bleed It Out,” “Somewhere I Belong” and other boundary-blurring songs found vocalist-keyboardist-guitarist Shinoda deftly rattling off rap verses, w...

By Sebastian Really… this is 4/10, at best. I was a big fan of the first Linkin Park albums, namely Hybrid Theory for its aggressive nu metal (one of my first contacts with metal) and the Reanimation for its good remixes and DJ work. But the Minutes to Midnight… what’s new? They have gone awfully soft, apart...

By Joey Maloney Unlike Limp Bizkit and the other rock-rap outfits of the late 90's, Linkin Park has survived and not only that thrived in this new era of modern rock. They have adapted with the times and constantly found to be relevant while still keeping their sound. They are loud and where MCR appear the the...

By Josh Phillips The New Linkin Park album Minutes To Midnight was one of my most anticipated albums for this year not only because of their great music in the past but also because they are a band whose sound is constantly evolving. Hybrid Theory was incredibly different from Meteora in the sound departmen...

By Josh Phillips Given up" is the first stand out track that comes to mind. It is the second track and the second single off Minutes To Midnight. It is also by far the hardest rock song on the album. Very comparable to one of the original Linkin Park singles, "One Step Closer". This song is very powerfully song and i...

By Mike D'Orazio The question I have been asking (and undoubtedly Linkin Park fans everywhere) about Minutes is: Where is Mike Shinoda? "Bleed It Out" is one of the few times Shinoda is distinctly heard on the album. It's one of the best songs on the ...

The remix album -- the time-honored tradition of buying time between records. Often, these are inconsequential affairs (Limp Bizkit's New Old Songs leaps to mind, for some reason), but if a band is smart, they can use this time-buying ploy to their advantage, redefining their sound some...
