Fashion Net World: Lipstick Mafia and Cashmere Jungle

It seems that every person that worked on Sex and the City makes now its own fashion series. Some months ago Cashmere Mafia, from Sex and the City creator Darren Star, and a couple of months ago Lipstick Jungle, a novel by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell. However, bringing together three or four women of a certain age does not guarantee the success Sex and the City had at its time. Now I am watching again some of the episodes, and even Sex and the City is not exactly what once used to be. However, it is still funny, there are some great clutch bags, interesting restaurants, and after all four genuine and romantic good girls looking for their dream.Lipstick Jungle tracks three powerful career women, who are willing to do almost anything for success in the business world: Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields), president of Parador Pictures, Victory Ford (Lindsay Price), a high profile fashion designer, and Nico Reilly (Kim Raver), editor-in-chief of a hot selling fashion magazine named Bonfire Magazine. The most funny thing is that the television company NBC created a fictitious publication of this magazine. www.bonfiremagazine.com . . On the other hand, Cashmere Mafia follows the lives of four ambitious women, who've been longtime best friends since their days at business school, as they try to balance their glamorous and demanding careers with their complex personal lives by creating their own "boys' club" (The Cashmere Mafia) to protect each other and discuss their personal ups and downs as they try to have it all in New York City. However, the show was officially cancelled by ABC on March 13, 2008. . What's is going to be next, Lipstick Mafia and Cashmere Jungle? ...
