Rate MLB 08 vs. MLB 09: Batting

Original at boardsus.playstation.com external link    Wed, Sep 30

By AntonioDaniels Quick question.  For those who've owned both MLB 08 and MLB 09, which game would you say is easier to bat in?  I've read in a lot of different places that MLB 09's batting is pretty difficult.  Haven't really played any baseball video games since MVP Baseball 05, so if MLB 08's easier to bat in, i...

By SoL-CasHMoneY The RTTS mode is exactly the same (only difference is Batting cages for batters which sucks and Fantasy Draft) There are no different game modes. They should've added something more, I'm not sure, but if I spent a year on a game, I could've thought of SOMETHING.

Rate MLB 09 The Show or MLB 2K9?

Original at boardsus.playstation.com external link    Thu, Feb 12

By xLCGx With the choppiness issue, how many people are going to give MLB 2K9 a try before deciding which game to buy? Overall, I'm disappointed with the MLB 09 demo because the only difference I can see is that the game doesn't play as smooth as MLB 08. I thought some of the batting stances looked worse...

Rate Batting Stances in '09

Original at boardsus.playstation.com external link    Thu, Jan 15

By Harrison26 Please tell me that they updated the batting stances in MLB 09.  Some of the batting stances in 08 looked nothing like the stances they have in real life.  Since I am a Reds fan, I noticed that Brandon Phillips's batting stance in MLB 08 wasn't even close to his actual stance. So if anyone knows if...

By shinderhizzle84 I know that batting stance doesn't matter a whole lot in this game--some say it does, others say it's all about user skill and your player's attributes--i believe that batting stance has an incredibly minor role in how well your player performs. But this thread isn't here to argue about whe...

By pastapadre Adding to the impressiveness of the updates is that SCEA is actively seeking feedback for future ones.
