Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, it's just Madonna, her music unadorned by post-production magic and elaborate orchestration. The songs on the tape include "All My Love," "Hear Me" (a song that evolved into "Shine a Light"), "Simon Says" (which became the familiar "Love Express") and "Little Lost Boy." BRASILIA, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Singer and pop icon Madonna will give a concert in Rio de Janeiro this coming New Year's Eve, Rio Mayor Eduardo Paes announced Friday.     The singer will perform at the famous Copacabana Beach, a mecca for more than 2 million partygoers every year. Madonna, who became famous with songs such as "Material Girl," arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Monday to request financial support for some social projects she is working on. On Thursday, the 51-year-old pop singer went to Sao Paulo to meet with a group of women in a poor community. Madonna talked about the positive values transmitted by the Kabbalah, of which she is a follower. Madonna will probably leave Brazil on Friday.

According to a source on the scene, as the Material Girl exited the venue, a team from a well-known tropical comedy TV show tried to play a prank on her involving a T-shirt with a laughable slogan thrown in her direction. Meanwhile, Madonna is also expected to be meeting Michael Berg, one of Kabbalah's leaders who happens to be giving a lecture in Sao Paulo, later on during the course of the day.
