As it stands, I think 3 of my favorite Disney photographers, Susan, Matt, and Tom have all posted this image. So here's my take on it. Seeing as this is another one from the "Let's rip off our friends" barrel, it doesn't bring much to the table except for the fact that I can take the same shot they c...
This was the Wishes shot I was going to post the other day when Tom knocked it out of the ballpark with the one with the Partners statue included. I think the whirlwind from that has calmed down, and it's safe to post this one. This was one of my favorite shots from my trip, since it is pretty much wh...

The regular show is hosted by Jiminy Cricket and the Blue Fairy, and revolves around the wishes of famous Disney characters - good and bad. The lights on Cinderella Castle change colors throughout the show, reflecting the different stages of Wishes' story. At times it glows blue, imitatin...
Maybe it doesn't seem so bad if you haven't experienced other parades that show what Disney is really capable of but after seeing both the Parade of Dreams in Disneyland and Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade in Disneyland Paris in person as well as several other parades on video the floats i...
Continuing in my "One dark ride shot a day" mentality, here's a favorite of mine from Snow White's Scary Adventures. I got very lucky here, but the shot really turned out nice. The 1.4 aperture of my 50mm lens really caught a narrow DoF here, causing pretty much only the Duck shaped head of the Ce...
I snapped this photo of Snow White, Disney princess, at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL, during the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade (it used to go by the radically different name of the "Disney Dreams Come True" parade--than goodness they had the sense to change it...

Immediately overhead as you pass through the entrance gateway is the Walt Disney World Railroad. This true Disney classic has been around since the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971. You can enjoy a 20-minute ride around the park or opt to “disembark” in Frontierland or Mickey’s Toontown Fair.

Although he is not armed (unless his nose could somehow be construed as a weapon), this toy soldier does an adequate job guarding the holiday decorations at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. My 2009 Walt Disney World Calendar is now available for purchase. Click here to check it out!
Burnsland posted a photo: s Magic Kingdom. You may notice the empty log at the lower left - the ride wasn't operating at the time, which made it easy to get a good shot since there wasn't a crowd standing around waiting for their friends and loved ones to come down the big drop. View Large On Black
For those of you who don't know, Peter Pan's Flight is considered one of the toughest rides in all of Walt Disney World to photograph. This is for several reasons. 1) It's dark, so you need high ISO to get a crisp shot.
Cory Disbrow posted a photo: When I ran this through Photomatix, I adjusted the WB to be slightly higher. I like the way it came out. Nothing much to this shot, but it's another example of why it pays to arrive early to the parks. Thanks for lookin', and have a great day!

The railroad was one thing that I really wanted to get some good shots of while down in WDW. Knowing about Walt's love of trains, I think it's important to recognize this heritage. I have a few more shots of the train to post at some other time, but I think this one was my favorite of the series. I'm a...
After riding Big Thunder Mountain, I braved the smoking section down in the gully by the Rivers of America to get this shot. I'm a big fan of the Liberty Belle. It's a nice relaxing ride that offers excellent views of the Magic Kingdom not usually seen. I also think it gets overlooked by most tour...
