Friday consisted of a random, but great (besides the Counting Crows) concert with Augustana (who I missed), Counting Crows and Maroon 5 in Irvine. On my way up to our seats, I saw Adam Levine riding his motorcycle to the backstage area. So badass.

On Saturday night, the band traveled south to San Diego where Counting Crows ended up cancelling their set because the lead singer, Adam Duritz, had fallen sick. As a result, Maroon 5 played a longer set with new surprises like their cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
