By Kate “Heroes” fans aren’t entirely in the clear yet: a renewal isn’t a deal until it’s a deal. If the show took a sudden dire ratings turn, the network still has time to reevaluate this strategy. But barring something dramatic happening, NBC is not deterred by the current ratings and will bring back “Heroes” for a fourth round. NEW MONDAY trailer with Heroes, Chuck and Medium Heroes got great news yesterday when it was announced that NBC will be picking up 18-20 episodes for next year. By Kate New general trailer for the season and for this week- I love the title “Things to Do in Phoenix When You’re Dead” . Speaking as one who lives in Phoenix if you come to see our fair city in the summer you will feel like you are in hell. That is a nice way of saying it gets really hot here! The upside is that it was in the upper 70s and low 80s all this week while much of the country was frozen. By Kate Did you miss Medium this week or just want to watch it again? We have a cool behind the scenes feature and you can watch the episode online. I really enjoyed this week’s episode- middle daughter Bridget is at the center of things and she seems to have her own way of channeling the family gift- it initially makes her teacher very uncomfortable but the end result is something different. I am glad that Davalos is back in his old job so that Allison, Scanlon and Davalos are back to solving murders. Ah- they got the band back together! You know things won’t go too smoothly for too long…this is Medium! I did like the jibe at The Ghost Whisperer this week with the body/soul swapping storyline.   [read the full post]

By Kate NBC orders more Medium November 17th, 2008 By Kate Blake, admin MV The Hollywood Reporter reported last week that right after announcing that My Own Worst Enemy was being cancelled- the net ordered up more episodes of Patricia Arquette’s series Medium bringing the total episode order up to 19. This is a strong show of faith for the supernatural family drama. I am wondering if it will be returning to its Monday night time slot following Heroes? It has been shuffled around quite a bit- a return to Monday night with a solid series would help NBC shore up that night and should retain their Heroes audience.
