Now on its 5th year, USTv Students' Choice Award aim is to recognize artistic excellence and to promote Christian values in television programming. This is the second time that Naruto won the plum in the animation category. In 2007, Naruto was also named as “Best Full Animated Program” based on 10,000 votes from the students of University of Sto. Tomas. By hethler is the fifth overall Naruto film and second Naruto Shippuuden film based on the popular anime and manga series scheduled for release in Summer 2008. The movie was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump along with the DVD release date for the first movie. The teaser which was aired along with Naruto Shippuuden Episodes 040-041 reveals Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki fighting something in the darkness. Historically speaking, Naruto Movies were released by the month of August so most likely; this 2nd Shippuuden Movie installment will hit Japan theatres by the same month. By hethler Naruto returns on ABS-CBN's Weekday Hero Zone starting January 7, 2007 at 5:30PM. The airing of Naruto episodes here in the Philippines is way different from Japan in terms of season. ABS-CBN labeled "Naruto Shippuuden" as "Season 05". There is actually a delusion on the trailer. One would think that they will show Shippuuden immediately. The real trick behind it was they’re going to show the full Naruto episodes from 001 to 220 (of course including the fillers). After the said marathon, that’s the time they’ll show Shippuuden. So if we do the math, they’ll be resurrecting Naruto on January 7th, with 220 episodes by 5 days a week (of airing) which equates to total of 44 weeks.
