Rate Review - Pete Doherty - Grace/Wastelands

Original at thedecomposedblog (WordPress) external link    Mon, Aug 3

By davidsardonicus I’m going to come clean now: I’m a Libertines fanboy. I love everything by the Libertines, and I’m a huge fan of Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Things as well. That makes my job as a reviewer harder, though I promise to give Peter Doherty’s solo album, Grace/Wastelands, as fair and unbiased a t...

By Valerio One thing is for sure. Barat - Doherty and the entire world revolving around them - have the best PRs in UK. Listen to Dirty Pretty Things here, while we wait to see what next is going to be. [myspace] [website] So, Is this it? Apparently it is. Dirty Pretty Things announced their split. What was, un...

By Bindie Indie(noreply@blogger.com) When Peter is not killing fledgling footie fans, he's recording music, like Babyshambles' new EP, titled The Blinding. "Exposed to this EP," the NME drools, "even those of us who despise Pete Doherty beyond all mortal sense will have to concede the lanky one some sliver of genius." That nic...

Rate Music Review: Babyshambles Shotters Nation - Blogcritics.org

Original at blogcritics.org external link    Mon, Nov 26

Music Review: Babyshambles Shotters Nation Blogcritics.org, OH - A lot has been said about Pete Doherty, he’s been the veritable poster child for bad-boy drug-fueled rocker antics. He’s kept The Mirror, The Independent, ...

Rate Album Review : Shotter's Nation

Original at Rolling Stone external link    Tue, Oct 16

Artist: Babyshambles Album: Shotter's Nation Review: It's hard to imagine how Babyshambles' Pete Doherty could write a song as great as "Deft Left Hand" and then hide it at the end of his new album. But then, many things about Pete Doherty are hard to imagine. On Shotter's Nation, the Brit-p...
