Amare Stoudemire scored 22 points on 8-11 shooting and added eight rebounds, Leandro Barbosa added 18 points off of the bench and Shaquille O'Neal controlled the paint with 15 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. By noreply@blogger.com (Hersey) The Grant Hill signing fizzled as he got hurt right before the playoffs. Amare Stoudemire still needs to be programmed for defense and rebounding. Leandro Barbosa took a step backward this season. Boris Diaw came alive in the playoffs, but where was he before that?

Also, Boris Diaw had 10 points and Leandro Barbosa added eight in the first half. If two out the three players (Diaw, Bell, LB) score 15 or more points, the Suns are 17-2. So with the combination of Bell scoring over 20 and Diaw having scored over 15, the Suns have a double-whammy. Go Suns!

The Suns use of smaller lineups was a main reason they had a 35point turnaround Friday against Denver.

For a stretch of nearly 11 minutes Sunday, Leandro Barbosa was the Suns offense. He scored 17 consecutive Suns points, one off Steve Nashs franchise record. Barbosa scored 15 of them in a stretch of 406 in the second quarter, ending Phoenixs fourminute scoreless stretch.
