By podcast@mail2tv.com (RikerDonegal) Cool. Prison Break: The Final Break. "Free" Michael puts his final plan into action. Prison Break leaves the air with an episode as good as any that it produced. The elements of a great PB episode are in place: Michael is cool, Michael and Alex are a united team with a strong bond/mutual trust and the storytelling cleverly misdirects us: We assume things that are not true and the episode uses that against us. Alex gets lots of great screentime in this one, as do Gretchen and T-Bag. This is a fan-pleasing episode. And a good way to end the story. Highlight? By podcast@mail2tv.com (RikerDonegal) 30 Rock. Season 3, Episode 21. "Mama Mia" Liz competes with Jenna, while Jack meets his dad. Dexter. Season 3, Episode 10. "Go Your Own Way" Dexter and Miguel have a battle of wits, as each tries to get the upper hand. That aside, this was a special and wonderful episode of FNL. Prison Break: The Final Break. "The Old Ball and Chain" Sara goes to prison. Wow. If this is what they had planned for Season Five then we were in for a great ride, had it gone ahead. This hour of TV is one of the best that Prison Break has offered. The show finds clever ways to include established characters (like Krantz, T-Bag and Gretchen), introduces several great new characters (Daddy, Wheatley and Simms) and - with the new prison - creates a fascinating new milieu. The actual final ever Prison Break. The “TV movie” picks up shortly after Michael and co. get exonerated. Michael and Sara get married in a very simple ceremony on the beach. While celebrating Sara is arrested for the murder of Christina and is sent to a women’s prison. She is looking at life in jail so Michael decides to do what he loves most and break Sara out of prison. Quote of the episode: Michael “We’re free now…finally. We’re free.” The actual final ever Prison Break. Remember this will be a SPOILER review. You might be saying to yourself, why am I reviewing new Prison Break when the show has officially ended? Well if you’ve seen the PB finale, you’ll know at the end it flashforwards four years and we find out Michael is dead. This special [...] [read the full post]

By Geeky Talk The Scofield family is in pieces, three in fact. We’ve got Christina, Linc and Michael all with different agenda’s. The Scofield family is not a happy one, they mainly like to kill so no wonder Sara is worried about having a family. Sara is pregnant and she seems happy about it but also worried. She should be scared about becoming a Scofield, it’s not the warmest family in the world. Throughout the series, our characters have wanted a normal life. Linc’s doing what he’s doing because he thinks that’s the only way to achieve that and Michael thinks that destroying The Company is the only answer. Once Michael finds out that Sara is pregnant then he might have a change of heart of what the best course of action is. [read the full post]

By Kate This past week’s episode of Prison Break had a major surprise in store for viewers and was one of the best episodes of the last two seasons in my opinion. As promised by the cast at the beginning of the season this year nobody would be safe and that there would be a body count. The previous episode saw the hacker get capped by the scary company assassin. This week the victim was a character closer to the core gang- none other than Brad Bellick himself! Wade Williams character has been on the show from the very first episode and we have seen him go from being the bully of a guard who tormented Michael and Linc, to losing everything and then going after the money in season 2 and then landing in jail himself. By the time season 3 roled around he was a con having t... [read the full post]

By podcast@mail2tv.com (RikerDonegal) Prison Break. Season 4, Episode 8. "The Price" is one of the most satisfying episodes of Prison Break. Sara and Gretchen have their first face-to-face meeting since Sara escaped capture and the results are informative and dramatic. Roland Glenn meets his final demise in this outing, too, having turned traitor to the whole team. Glenn was a minor character, little more than a plot device. He existed to be the person who created that magical device we have seen in almost every episode this season. Now that the story no longer needs that device, it no longer needs him and he (having formed no bonds with anyone) turns on them and is killed for his trouble. It's an unsatisfying character arc, but it's of no great consequence when everything that is happe... [read the full post]

Fun though it may have been for William Fichtner to play a drugged-out Mahone during Season Three it was no real fun for us in watching a guy we loved suffering. Plus he wasn't 'cool' anymore like he was back in Season Two. Well those days are gone and Alex Mahone is frakkin' cool again. His escape from T-Bag's trap was worthy of Jack Bauer and his later appearance (to rescue Michael) was bad-ass cool.
