Just judging from what the designers trot out in the sketches, you just know that none of them would have had a chance against the season four contestants. I just feel like, with Michael Kors and Nina Garcia missing from most of the challenges, the wrong designers were sent home.

I’m also conflicted about reality show contestants. But Siriano’s shoes have good bones: classic silhouettes married with architectural heels and and interesting colours, patterns and finishes. The bags part of the collection is underwhelming but the prices — at $30 to 50 — are right.

How many times has he been in the final two? Way too many to count. Though he has flashes of genius, he also screws up many of the outfits. I think eventually lack of serious training always catches up to contestants on series that showcase skills.
